My host today was Indrajit here at Sufi Palace which has a wonderful family seating place, hygienic and air conditioned. He was super polite, extremely courteous and recommended me what was, is and perhaps the most loved dish at the restaurant- their biryani. I didn’t think twice and decided to order the special chicken biryani that came with two pieces of chicken and an egg. I paired it with a fresh lime soda that was made really well. To be honest, the biryani just felt home like and very well made. The chicken just fell off the bones and no doubt it is their best seller here. If you are around college street, don’t think twice and come over here to try their biryani and other items they have on their menu. Keep up the great work guys!

I went to this place after reading other reviews on Google and I was not at all disappointed. The food was delicious and the chicken pieces almost melts in your hands. I had garlic nan, chicken reshmi butter masala and biryani and every dish was delectable. This is probably one of the best mughlai cuisine I have had in Kolkata.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sufi Palace Restaurant in Kolkata, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating arrangements. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Now, let's dive into the food. I had the opportunity to try several dishes that left a lasting impression on me. Starting with the Chicken Angara Kabab, it was a true delight. The kababs were succulent and perfectly charred, with a smoky flavor that was truly appetizing. The spices were well-balanced, creating a rich and aromatic taste that lingered on the palate. Next, I sampled the Chicken Achari Kebab, and I must say it was a standout dish. The chicken was tender and infused with tangy and spicy flavors, reminiscent of achaar (pickle). The kebabs were expertly marinated, resulting in a delicious combination of textures and tastes. It was a true treat for my taste buds. Moving on to the Special Mutton Biriyani, I was impressed by the fragrant aroma that wafted from the plate. The biryani was cooked to perfection, with each grain of rice separate and flavorful. The mutton was tender and well-spiced, blending harmoniously with the rice and aromatic spices. It was a truly satisfying biryani experience. To accompany our meal, we ordered the Kabuli Naan. The naan was soft and fluffy, with a hint of sweetness from the raisins and a delightful crunch from the nuts. It complemented the dishes perfectly and was a great addition to the overall meal. Lastly, we tried the Chicken Tengri Masala. The chicken was cooked in a rich and flavorful tomato-based gravy. The spices were well-balanced, and the chicken was tender and moist. The masala had a perfect blend of spices, and every bite was a burst of flavors. It was a satisfying and comforting dish, perfect for those who enjoy a good chicken curry. Overall, Sufi Palace Restaurant in Kolkata offers a remarkable dini

Absolutely loved my experience at Sufi Palace. This place is a true gem for non-veg lovers in Kolkata. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly spiced. From the melt-in-mouth Galouti Kebabs to the deliciously aromatic Mutton Biryani, every dish was cooked to perfection. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, making it perfect for both family dinners and casual hangouts. The service was top-notch — staff were courteous, attentive, and ensured everything was served hot and fresh.Highly recommend trying their Butter Chicken and Tandoori Roti combo — it’s heavenly. If you’re craving mouth-watering Mughlai or North Indian non-veg cuisine, Sufi Palace should be your go-to place in Kolkata.

Overall, quite satisfied with the experience. Detalied review follows. 1. Location: 1 min walk from MG Road-CR Avenue crossing, right over the MG Road. This is the restaurant below Golden Palace hotel. 2. Parking: Do not bring your car here. Avail metro then couple of minutes walk from MG Road station is fine. Else app cab will be better option. 3. Entry: Staffs are very much courteous here. They welcomed us with warmth, then guided to the 1st floor restaurant. 4. Ambience: ~200 sq feet room accommodating for 28 people, in the restaurant. Yes, it is not very spacious, and walk carefully before stumbling upon a chair. Nice decoration with ambient amber lighting appeared quite appealing to me. Tables and chairs were clean. 5. Washroom: Available and attached. Not super luxury, but clean. 6. Food: We ordered prawn as starter, chicken fried rice and Manchurian chicken. All of them were delicious to taste. One plate of fried rice was sufficient for two of us after the starter. In fact we could not finish it all. Photos are being attached. 7. Service: Professional behaviour received from the staffs. They were humble too. We liked their food recommendation. It took nearly 20 minutes for the orders to be delivered and we didn't mind much.

For having a good and delicate taste of biryani sufi palace is highly recommended. The taste is light, certainly not full of exuberant fragrance. This is delicate, sumptuous and worth every penny you spend. Most likely recommended- reshmi kebab, malai kebab, mutton biryani, chicken rarah, chicken tikka butter masala, naan, kulcha firni. Enjoy the food there and relish hereafter.

The place is one of best Mughlai restaurant of North Kolkata. The ambience was really awesome but there was no space inside, so we had to dine in the outside waiting area. Otherwise the food was really delicious at a very reasonable price. The Chicken Lolipop especially was lip smacking and outstanding in taste. Also the pieces of chicken was quite good and juicy. Crispy chilli baby corn was indeed a 'must try' here. Tandoori Chicken (Gravy) was so good and the juicy pieces literally melt inside mouth. Now coming to the Biryani (Chicken) was the star of the day, Sufi Palace caters one of the best authentic biryani in Kolkata. Firni here deserves a special mention.

Frustrating experience every time I visit this restaurant. The menu looks great on paper, but in reality, most items are consistently unavailable 😒. It's not just a one-time thing, I've been here multiple times and the situation is the same. What's worse is that some of the dishes they do serve don't even come close to the authentic flavors I know and love. Feels like they're just ticking boxes rather than serving genuine cuisine. Service is polite, but can't overlook the lack of options and compromised authenticity. Until they sort out their menu and kitchen, won't be recommending this place 🙅♂️.

Went here for a dinner party of a batch of 24. So yes, they have the space for accommodating a large group. But, the place was understaffed. Due to that, there were minor inconveniences. But I cannot complain about it. Because the only staff that provided us, did a really good job. Food was remarkably great in quality and quantity. As we combined ordered a lot of items, so per head expense were around 400/-. Note that we didn't take any dessert. So, it was certainly a great experience dining here.

The restaurant is too good. Especially their Biryani, that's really awesome. The real mughlai flavour and fragrance is present. We have tried chicken tandoori, Mutton Biryani, Malai Kebab, Virgin Mojito, Firni. All was good but Malai Kebab was average. Staff's behavior is also good.
